I Intentionally Infected My Wife With HIV-Hanks Anuku

Popular Nollywood actor Hanks Anuku, who is known for his charming roles in Nigerian movies, has revealed he tested positive for HIV.

Hanks has become a scarce commodity. For years now, the number of released movies he has acted in recent times can be comfortably counted with the fingers. 

In 2013,the actor revealed that his career almost got ruined by alcohol and drugs which also almost led to a mental illness. 

He stated that even while he was a Special Adviser to Emmanuel Uduaghan, who is the governor of Delta State governor, the illness reportedly forced him out of the government house. 

But it appears he has not only been battling with drinking and drugs..He has had to deal with a more life threatening issue as HIV.

The Nollywood actor also revealed how he deliberately infected his wife with the deadly disease. Pulse reports that the actor, now a born-again Christian, who is based in Ghana, talked in an interview about how he went to Zambia for six months in April 2011 without his wife and two kids, to take part in plays teaching about HIV and AIDS. While there he enjoyed life, sleeping with about 80 women.
