NBC Imposes Restriction On Airing Of Lil Kesh’s ‘Shoki’

In a letter to all broadcast houses dated January 7, 2015, the NBC (Nigerian Broadcasting Commission) has ordered that the song ‘Shoki’ remix by Lil Kesh featuring Olamide and Davido be played only during watershed periods between 10pm and 5am.

 NBC states that the song: ‘contains some connotations of foul impressions that could corrupt the sensibilities of the impressionable underage.’
