Britain's Oldest Person Ethel Lang 'Last Victorian' Dies At 114

Ethel Lang, Britain's oldest person and thought to be one of the last two living subjects of Queen Victoria, died today at 114 years of age.

During an extraordinary life spanning more than a century, Ethel saw six British monarchs and 22 Prime Ministers come and go - not to mention two world wars.

She was born around May 1900 and At age 22 she married young plumber William Lang and a year later the couple had a daughter, Margaret Bates, who is now 91 years old herself.
