Nick cannon quietly filed for divorce from Mariah Carey December 12.The couple’s whirlwind romance, which saw them wed after just two months of dating back in 2008, they signed a prenup with a confidentiality clause. Sources close to the pair have now claimed that if Nick violates the clause then he’ll have to pay $250,000, but if Mimi does exactly the same then she’ll have to pay double. 

According to Tmz,Mariah’s blabbermouth would cost her a whopping $500,000!

Of course, as the prenup states, Mariah went into the marriage with more money. Her estimated net worth stands at around $150 million, according to the papers with $30 million of that being labeled as “miscellaneous”.Nick, came into the marriage with only $500,000.

He’s done well since then, making millions on his various projects, but when they married he ended up buying her engagement ring for $500,000 but took a loan out for $470K. The ring was reportedly worth $2.5 mil, but that’s not what he paid.

They’ve already worked out a full property settlement agreement.
