Court Declares Emeka Ike As AGN President

A Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos, has declared popular actor, Emeka Ike, as the authentic president of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN).

In its judgement on Monday, March 16, 2015, the court held that the election that brought Ibinabo Fiberesima into office as the guild’s president violated an earlier court ruling, which ordered that a status quo be maintained.

Ibinabo was taken to court by St Maradona Mikevine in a suit challenging the election that ushered in the former beauty queen as the guild’s president.

Meanwhile, Ibinabo has vowed to appeal the judgement. She confirmed this to Nigeriafilms.comwhen contacted after the Monday’s judgement.
